Robyn H. Latchman, CFP, CLU, EPC, has nearly two decades experience providing ethical and expert financial planning, investment and insurance solutions to clients, small businesses and professional groups, and their families.   

Robyn’s specialty as one of the first certified Elder Planning Counselors in Canada (EPC) includes planning for our future care needs as we age, and planning care for our aging parents and families dealing with critical illness and disability, as well as working with bereaved families and small businesses and professional practices to deal with the many complex issues associated with administering estates and succession planning.   

Robyn brings a compassionate approach to her client-centered Toronto and Barrie-area practice as a Certified Financial Planner (CFP), Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU), and licensed independent insurance broker.  As a Certified Financial Planner (CFP) and financial advisor registered with the Financial Advisors Association of Canada (ADVOCIS), Robyn is also available to advise on mutual funds and other investment products. 

Robyn’s career began with ten years’ distinguished practice in the field of interior design, where she was one of the first in Canada to receive the National Certification of Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ), and was a member of the Association of Registered Interior Designers of Ontario (ARIDO).  She then made a strategic career change and entered the financial services industry, following closely in her father’s footsteps in a well respected family business, Latchman Insurance Brokers Limited. 

Robyn Latchman has written articles for several publications, is a sought-after speaker by the accounting and legal professions, and sits on a variety of industry related boards and advocacy groups.  She is also active in her community, helping charitable and non-profit organizations with her time and expertise to assist fundraising and endowment planning initiatives.
